Premium of this scheme is 0.5% of your monthly wages or Maximum 75/- whichever is lower.
Question : What is the Calculation of this scheme ?
Ans : If your salary is above than 15000/- than maximum Capping of the Wages is currently set by the EPFO is 15000/- per month.

12 months monthly average wages of your Basic + DA + VDA allowance X 30 + Bonus ( 50% of average EPF balance maximum capping is 2.5 lakh)
For Example : your monthly wages are 10000/-

NCP Days

Question : What is the meaning of NCP Days ?
Answer : NCP stands for “Non Contributory Period”. It means the leaves you have taken and employer didn’t paid for those days, and considered as leaves without Pay. NCP days can be the days when you have not intimated to your employer for your leave and leave didn’t granted by the employer. In that case he can consider the same as unplanned leave and do not adjust in your yearly Leaves quota as CL / PL / SL. Sometimes your Yearly leaves quota got exhausted but you may be not able to come back on your job than the remaining days other than your leaves would be counted as NCP days because neither you shall be paid for those extra leaves by the employer nor any PF contribution shall be submitted by the employer for those extra leaves / absents.
Question : How do we know our NCP days since we are employed ?
Answer : Only the employer have the record and access to update the NCP days. If you need any clarity in it, you need to contact to your employer or concerned department for the details. Employer need to keep record of its every employee’s working/Non working days data and have to submit monthly PF & Pension contribution with the detailed sheet in EPFO with NCP days. EPFO have assigned an Employee management Portal to every employer with a login credential in which employer have to keep all his employees details and have to submit employees pf & pension contribution on monthly basis and need to pay penalty in case of delayed submission.
